Role description
As a Validation Engineer you are responsible for creating, setting up, validation and qualification protocols and managing various standards from the client’s location. You are your department’s expert in qualification, validation and calibration. The aim of the position is to continue and improve productivity, safety and quality. You take the initiative, formulate business cases for improvement projects, data analysis and daily processes. You report to the lead of the Validation /Calibration department.
Responsibilities
The team is responsible for coordinating, carrying out, reporting validations, qualifications and calibrations for multiple locations.
The department works for various integrated process teams and center of excellence and also with the R&D department. The team consists of validation technicians, a validation engineer, administrative employees and work planners.
- Setting up protocols, reports, annual planning and registering activities.
- Initiating and assessing of documents changes, adapting existing PO plans and contracts.
- Performing analyses of qualification and calibration data in the CMMS system.
- Supporting of complex technical qualifications and calibrations.
- Qualification and calibration of related reports. This also includes assessing qualification and as-built documents.
- Implementation of company safety, health and environmental policies related to validation, qualification and calibration.
- Following applicable internal & external official safety regulations.
- Ensuring knowledge assurance within IPT/ Code of Ethics.
Requirements
- A relevant HBO education with 3-5 years of work experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of GMP.
- Organizational skills, strong analytical insight.
- Ability to understand and read technical documents.
- Reading skills in Dutch, German and English.
- Skills in writing reports, proposals and plans.
- Familiarity with validation and calibrations.
- Customer-oriented attitude and communication with a flexible attitude.
