Supply Chain Operations Leader

Role Description
In this role you will drive the alignment and execution of stock allocation processes, ensuring efficient order delivery and optimal inventory management. You will proactively manage supply and demand risks, communicate with key stakeholders, and oversee the stock lifecycle, including managing obsolescence and new product launches.

Responsibilities
-Ensure timely processing and delivery of customer orders, adhering to delivery SLAs (e.g. same-day, 24-hour, 48-hour) in a 7-day-a-week operation.
-Respond to alerts from planning tools regarding demand and supply.
-Optimize stock allocation across all customers, considering overall business impact.
-Address stock availability issues caused by demand variations.
-Manage supply and demand risks related to quality issues in collaboration with the QA manager.
-Review and analyze KPI reports on customer service levels, implementing corrective actions to drive improvements.
– Ensure relevant and appropriate stakeholder management to achieve alignment in the stock allocation process
– Proactively inform Customer Service, sales, and supply chain stakeholders about supply and demand risks and opportunities.
– Manage stock life cycle, including clearing overstock, dead stock, and returns.
-Identify and address stock nearing expiration or potential obsolescence, especially during relaunches.
-Oversee the phasing in and out of new innovations and relaunches, ensuring proper management of obsolete raw and packaging materials.
-Organize the destruction of obsolete stock with business approval.
-Achieve obsoletes targets by proactively identifying risks from demand deviations and oversupply.

Requirements
-Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field.
-Experience in supply chain and/or Customer service
-Familiar with the FMCG market
-experience in stakeholder management
-Proficient in speaking and writing in Dutch and Englisch
-Experience with SAP
