Role description
As an Automation Systems Engineer, you’ll showcase your expertise in deploying automation solutions to meet a wide array of client needs. Your key duties will involve implementing, supporting, and maintaining computerized systems, along with GxP-related hardware and software, within our client’s manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

  • Specify future data needs for data engineering.
  • Develop a standard support model for onsite and local data products.
  • Establish a userfriendly platform for data, tools, and knowledge, including self-service support for SynTQ, MVA, GDTA, and Flow VPX.
  • Review and assess our data architecture onsite and with peer sites using FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and plan for platform alignment.
  • Implement a standard workflow in the Digital operating model and ES (Engineering Systems) for data product progression from project to base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, Math, Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an industrial automation engineer.
  • Proficient in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools for data analysis, ranging from basic to expert level.
  • Basic understanding of quality standards (GxP) and data integrity principles like ALCOA.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, products, and/or equipment, particularly related to the involved technology platform.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing site systems and procedures.
  • Experience with DeltaV, SynTQ, PASX MES, and/or OSI-soft PI is advantageous.
