As a Supply Chain Operations Leader (SCOL) within the Integrated Operations (IOps) department, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing customer case fill performance through effective management of demand and supply operations. SCOLs are responsible for identifying and mitigating stock risks, collaborating with Sourcing Units, and closely monitoring daily demand variations. This role involves active engagement with various stakeholders, including sourcing units, virtual factories, sales teams, and customer service to ensure seamless coordination.
-Proactively respond to demand and supply alerts from the Proactive Stock Management Tool (PSMT) and APO, taking prompt and appropriate action.
-Optimize stock allocation across all customers, considering the overall business perspective and making necessary trade-offs.
-Update the Order Management Database (OMDB) in cases of demand variations leading to low cover or out-of-stock situations.
-Analyze key performance indicator (KPI) reports related to customer service levels, implementing corrective actions for continuous improvement.
-Ensure effective stakeholder management to align stock allocation processes across the Market Commercial Organization (MCO).
-Communicate supply and demand risks and opportunities to Customer Development (CD) and Supply Chain (SC) stakeholders proactively.
-Manage stock life cycle, including clearance of overstock, dead stock, and returns.
-Alert and capture stocks approaching expiration or potential obsolescence on the ‘signaleringslijst.’
-Facilitate the phasing in and phasing out of new innovations/relaunches with Sourcing Units and Virtual Factory, considering obsolescence risks.
-Organize the destruction of obsolete stock, obtaining necessary business approvals.
-Achieve obsolete targets by proactively identifying risks arising from demand variations and oversupply.
-Bachelor’s or preferred master’s degree
-Background in Supply Chain or Customer Service
-At least 1 year of relevant work experience
-Affinity with FMCG market
-Experience in Planning or Stock Management
-Proven track record in stakeholder management
-Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English are essential.
