Role Description
You will be reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this role involves strategizing and overseeing maintenance operations. You’ll take on leadership and people management tasks, support project execution, encourage the team to find technical solutions and validate processes, standardize how the team works, and create a positive team environment. Responsible for conducting studies related to the maintenance of production and utility equipment, electrical systems, and related activities within the plant.

Responsibilities
-In charge of the day-to-day management of Maintenance Department operations.
-Oversee and conduct maintenance on buildings and equipment independently.
-Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and installations autonomously.
-Assist in resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), audit findings, ergonomic concerns, and safety-related action items.
-Act as the maintenance approver for process development studies and validation documentation as per authorization.
-Ensure that permits are consistently maintained in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety guidelines, and health regulations.
-Collaborate in the implementation of production process enhancements and take the lead on equipment improvement projects.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
-6 to 8 years of experience in process or maintenance engineering in a medical devices setting are preferred.
-Strong computer background, including proficiency with MS Office, MS Project Management, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Minitab, is essential.
-Experience in a manufacturing environment, specializing in the development of manufacturing standards.
-Proficiency in both English and Dutch languages.
