Role description
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, your role involves overseeing and supervising maintenance operations, which include conducting studies for the upkeep of production and utility equipment, electrical systems, and related plant activities. Your responsibilities encompass providing leadership, supporting projects, resolving technical challenges, standardizing processes, fostering a positive team environment, and working in close collaboration with other Mentor functional groups to ensure GMP/ISO compliance and efficient management of product design changes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Maintenance Department operations.
- Independently perform maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment and installation issues autonomously.
- Organize, prioritize, and delegate daily tasks to Maintenance technicians.
- Conduct maintenance, calibration, and repairs on machinery, equipment, and buildings.
- Contribute to the implementation of production process improvements and lead equipment enhancement projects.
- Offer support for tooling fabrication in Product Development.
- Aid in resolving NCRs, CAPAs, audit observations, ergonomics, and safety-related action items.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in process or maintenance engineering.
- Proficiency in various software applications, with advanced computer skills, including expertise in MS Office, MS Project Management, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Minitab.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with a particular emphasis on creating manufacturing standards.
- Familiarity with Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Fluent in both English and Dutch.
