Role Description
As a Manufacturing Process Specialist/Equipment Engineer, you oversee equipment availability, quality, and compliance, lead improvement projects, participate in cross-functional and NPI projects, and ensure long-term asset strategy and process issue resolution, including on-call troubleshooting.
Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with different team members and external manufacturing partners to make sure our equipment meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Take charge of projects that improve processes or equipment. Oversee Change Control processes, handle Business Improvements, and define User Requirements with a team.
  • Involve in New product introduction projects and global projects related to production as a team member.
  • Create a long-term plan for our assets to make sure we always have enough manufacturing capacity.
  • Actively lead or take part in investigations when things go wrong in production processes.

Requirement

  • Higher professional education or university education in a relevant field like pharmaceutical sciences, biotechnology, biochemistry, life sciences, or biological engineering.
  • Experience with equipment and processes used in upstream production. Ideally, you'd also know about both upstream and downstream processing.
  • Comfortable working with production equipment and automation systems, such as DeltaV and MES.
  • You need to be able to work in a high-quality environment that follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
