Role Description
As a Procurement Strategy Lead, spearhead global portfolio procurement strategy development and implementation, fostering strong supplier relationships, ensuring savings through adept negotiation, contract management, and global initiatives, all while promoting compliance and innovation collaboration. You will also provide valuable market insights for accurate forecasting and remain dedicated to ongoing improvement.
Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio that includes various purchased items in Structuring and Health Ingredients.
  • Lead global negotiations often, achieving savings and cash goals through market knowledge, strategy execution, negotiation skills, and applying price risk management principles.
  • Execute contracts and make sure sourcing units in Europe receive excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with RSP, Contracting, Quality, and service in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
  • Launch global portfolio initiatives like ZBB, ASA/AMA, Resilience, and market development to gain more global leverage and connect with regions and MET’s.
  • Support collaboration between global suppliers and regional procurement teams to set short and long-term business goals.
  • Assist innovation projects by working closely with the R&D team, providing market information, supplier capabilities, and capacity.
  • Collaborate with the finance community to provide accurate price forecasts, including market price trends and future market trends for proper budgeting and pricing.

Requirement

  • 2 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain operations.
  • Experience in collaborating across various functions, particularly in R&D, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of accountability, responsibility, and leadership qualities.
  • Exceptional execution capabilities, analytical acumen, and a proactive mindset.
  • Capable of working independently in a virtual environment.
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to address unforeseen challenges quickly.
  • Skilled at cultivating relationships with individuals both within and outside the organization.
