The Role
As a Global Specification Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the specifications of micro ingredients in Europe, encompassing a range of components such as flavours, colours, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and more, in accordance with the requirements of the business and ongoing projects.

Responsibilities
– Creating specifications that effectively cater to the demands of the end product, consumers, and the market.
– Managing the specifications approval process & maintaining up to date the SAP system.
– Establish connections with various departments, as well as with suppliers to align on specification details and guarantee compliance with food safety regulations, thereby upholding the highest standards.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science/Technology, Quality/Safety/Regulatory or related field.
– At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field such as Ingredient management, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance within the food industry.
– Knowledge and experience working with micro ingredients (flavours, colours, minerals, vitamins, amino acids would be a plus).
– Strong communication skills in English.
– Experience with SAP is a plus. Good skills in MS Office, especially Excel.
