Role Description
This role plays a pivotal part in upholding the safety, security, and operational efficiency of diverse systems within a biotech establishment. Your primary responsibilities include enhancing the performance and dependability of these systems through close collaboration with the maintenance team. Furthermore, you’ll serve as a specialist, providing vital support to the investment projects team by contributing your expertise towards the development of sustainable solutions for new installations.
Responsibilities
– Collaborate with the maintenance team to evaluate installation performance and condition. Based on these assessments, develop robust maintenance strategies and replacement programs.
– Formulate lifecycle strategies for systems and implement forward-looking programs that integrate cutting-edge technologies.
– Conduct comprehensive root cause analyses and reliability studies aimed at optimizing installation performance.
– Craft compelling “business cases” and “user requirement specifications” for utility projects. Your role will also involve actively supporting multidisciplinary project teams by providing specialized insights into fire safety, safety control, and security systems.
– Take ownership of implementing both global and local standards, ensuring strict adherence to local regulations.
– Play an active role in a Global Community of Practice, facilitating the exchange of knowledge, best practices, and site-specific experiences with fellow community members. Your contribution to continuous improvement within the network and on-site will be invaluable.
Requirements
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an HBO level or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a comparable position.
– Display expertise in the operation, maintenance, and design of electrical, safety control, and security systems.
– Demonstrate hands-on experience with automation and control systems.
– Fluent in both Dutch and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
