Supply Chain Coordinator 

The Company:
Our client is a multinational corporation that has gained worldwide recognition for its extensive range of confectionery, pet food, and other dairy products. Boasting a storied past spanning several decades, this company has emerged as a prominent global player in the food industry. Their diverse array of offerings encompasses snacks, chocolates, gum, beverages, and extends to pet care, where they have established a strong presence in the pet food market.

Role Description:
Your daily task involves effectively overseeing the transportation and documentation processes for both road and sea transport, spanning from Veghel to over 100 countries worldwide. Additionally, you will be accountable for generating container booking requests for multiple external loading locations within Europe and ensuring adherence to document regulations. 

Responsibilities:

• Formulates delivery and shipment strategies for transporting finished goods from the Noord-Brabant site via road and sea. Ensures coordination with all relevant shipping and receiving entities.
• Oversees product demand and inventory alongside affiliate markets, ensuring exceptional service levels and product freshness.
• Manages the booking of sea transport orders from various external loading points, coordinating with pertinent stakeholders.
• Meticulously prepares all necessary documentation accompanying shipments.
• Accurately records all transactions in SAP.
• Proactively collaborates with other planners across the End2End supply chain, keeping them well-informed about ongoing shipments.
• Identifies opportunities for synergy in departure organization to minimize logistical costs, including transportation, handling, and capital/demurrage expenses. 
• Timely escalates issues and collaborates with the entire Noord-Brabant logistics team to find solutions.

Requirements:

• Demonstrates a strong aptitude for rapid learning and growth, displaying the potential to excel.
• Proficient in using ERP systems, with a preference for experience in SAP.
• Possesses fluency in both Dutch and English, ensuring effective communication.
• Exhibits a proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Displays a strong commitment to service excellence and maintaining a customer-centric approach.
• Demonstrates the capacity to advance and evolve professionally within the role.
