About the role
The Manufacturing Safety Specialist plays a crucial role in the Operations department, supporting the implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with EHS standards and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.

Responsibilities:
–Support the implementation and maintenance of EHS standards within Operations.
-Monitor and address EHS incidents, Good Saves, and CURVE CAPAs specific to Operations.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and implement EHS improvements.
-Act as the primary point of contact for EHS inspections, audits, and follow-ups related to Operations.
–Build and maintain a network within the company to facilitate EHS-related activities and improvements.

Requirements:
-Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety practices, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
-Familiarity with cGMP guidelines and the ability to ensure activities meet these requirements.
-Excellent communication and networking skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
-Proven ability to work independently and carry out assignments effectively.
-Experience in root cause investigation, corrective actions, and preventive measures related to EHS incidents
