Job Description
We are seeking a talented Scientist to join our team and continue innovating NK cell therapeutics. As a Scientist, you will have a general working knowledge or expertise of immunology, immune cells, and applicable cell-based characterization methods. You will apply this knowledge independently and creatively towards the development of cell therapy projects and pipeline products. The successful candidate will perform research for developing methods to stimulate immune cells, gene modification of immune cells, and targeting for immune effector cells, particularly NK cells. You must have the ability to execute, analyze, and troubleshoot experiments independently.
Responsibilities
-Collaborate with teams to execute studies and experiments to enable high-quality analysis of immune cell responses
-Participate in a scientific team to support ongoing projects
-Perform laboratory work to support research studies: execute experiments, interpret data, write reports, and present results
-Contribute to laboratory projects and interact with team members in other functions
-Follow safety training and good research laboratory practices
Requirements
-PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline, with 0-2 years of relevant experience beyond a PhD, or M.Sc. with 4+ years of relevant experience
-Experience with general methods to immune cell characterization methodologies
-Understanding of and hands-on experience with any of the following is highly beneficial: flow cytometry, CRISPR gene editing methods, cytotoxicity assays
-Hands-on experience in isolation, handling, and characterization using multicolor flow cytometry of primary cells
-Good working knowledge in multi-parameter flow cytometry analysis
-Hands-on experience with immune cell isolation and working with different immune cells
