Role
This position is centered on ensuring compliance with Chinese GB legislation for raw material specifications. A large part of it involves developing a close working relationship with multiple stakeholders including Quality & Food Safety, Product Development, Cycle & Procurement, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that ingredient specifications meet the nutritional, quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements
• Establish strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders and external suppliers
• Ensure that the finished products are of the highest quality and meet all regulatory standards in China
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, identifying and solving problems
• Possess a deep understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in China, including GB standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Quality or scientific discipline relevant to Food
• 3+ years’ experience in ingredient, quality & food safety, or regulation within a relevant industry
• Excellent communication skills for working in cross-functional teams
• Knowledge in Chinese GB related to food materials
• Experience in using SAP is preferred
• Fluent English, Chinese is a huge plus
