Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Facility Coordinator to oversee safety and environmental operations at our site. In this role, you will ensure that our manufacturing equipment is in excellent condition, lead our equipment excellence program, and guide our engineers in inventory and cost management. You will also research and monitor best practices, oversee preventive maintenance of building utilities and machinery, and provide complex laboratory support. Additionally, you will administer major facilities and maintenance projects, recommend estimates for base design costs, and oversee construction and installation.

Responsibilities
-Monitor safety and environmental operations to meet requirements for the site
-Assist in the completion of safety and environmental action plan updates
-Guide engineers in inventory and cost management
-Ensure preventive maintenance of building utilities and machinery, manufacturing systems, mechanical and electromechanical equipment, and provide complex laboratory support
-Recommend estimates for base design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs
-Oversee construction and installation and stay up-to-date on established codes, corporate requirements, specifications, and schedules
-Research energy-saving projects, determine payback periods, and manage energy projects to completion

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
-5+ years of experience in a similar role
-Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and requirements
-Experience in leading manufacturing equipment excellence programs
-Strong project management skills and ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
-Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
-Knowledge of energy-saving projects and technologies.
