Role Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are operating efficiently and safely. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and conduct inspections and testing to ensure the pharma facility runs smoothly. The technician will also work closely with production and engineering teams to support production and plant projects.

Responsibilities

– Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure maximum uptime

– Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime

– Conduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment and machinery are functioning properly

– Document all maintenance activities in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements

– Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, parts used, and any other relevant information

– Assist production and engineering teams with maintenance-related tasks, projects, and initiatives as needed

– Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize maintenance procedures, increase efficiency, and reduce costs

– Comply with all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures

Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or trade certification preferred

– Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or related field, preferably in the pharma industry

– Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
