Company:
Our client is a multinational pharmaceutical company that specializes in the development, production, and distribution of generic and specialty medicines. Their commitment is to improving the health and well-being of patients worldwide.
Role:
You will be stationed at the Quality Microbiological laboratory where you will be responsible for performing regular sample analyses on raw materials, packaging, intermediate, and finished products to evaluate their quality. The results will then be recorded in their LIMS system.
Responsibilities:
- Testing for microorganisms, including identifying them using MALDI-TOF and gram staining
- Conducting sterility testing on sterile finished products using an isolator
- Performing growth inhibition testing of media and endotoxin determinations using Gel-clot and Kinetic Chromogenic methods
- Supporting environmental monitoring and water sampling systems
- Contributing to efficiency programs for the department and the site, including maintaining supplies and keeping equipment and the lab clean
Requirements:
- MBO-4 degree in microbiology or higher
- Knowledge of GMP guidelines
- Experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably in the Pharmaceuticals/Biotech industry
- Fluency in English and Dutch
