Title: Hybrid Lead Financial Controller

Role Description
This role is part of the Finance Operations and Transformation Organization and aims to standardize and drive consistency. The Financial Control Lead will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with budget owners to ensure accurate forecasts and budgets. The ideal candidate will help identify and implement innovative working methods.

Responsibilities
The Financial Control Lead will be responsible for:
-Producing monthly reports on spending variations between verified results and budgets/forecasts
–Monitoring spending related to projects to ensure accurate project budgeting
–Ensuring stability while refining Opex management and business partnerships
–Overseeing and leading month-end and quarter-end closing activities
–Collaborating with Opex members and finance business partners
–Ensuring compliance with internal control provisions and relevant SOX controls
–Undertaking ad hoc projects as required

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
–A minimum of three years’ experience in a Financial Controller position
–At least five years’ experience within Finance
–A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
–Bonus points for Pharmaceutical Industry experience!
