Their products span a wide range of industries for food and beverages to pharmaceutics, with an overall goal to address global challenges such as food security  and climate change.

Role:

• Lead all the aspects of the manufacturing facility for DSM Animal Nutritional & Health premix plant
• The responsibilities include managing safety, health, environmental programs, quality & food safety programs, and capital projects and facilities
• The job also involves meeting production, volume, efficiency, cost targets, and employee development and performance management while leading a team of 75-80 people and acting as the DSM representative for the plant towards authorities

Responsibilities:
 

• Assess and mitigate operational and safety risks while meeting business objectives
• Create and implement a manufacturing plan to ensure product delivery as planned and to specifications
• Manage relationships with government organizations, maintain business continuity, and improve business contributions through efficient site organization
• Prioritize and promote safety by developing a safety culture and adhering to safety protocols, including training and following Life Saving Rules
• Encourage reporting of incidents and near misses to support ongoing improvement of safety practices

Requirements:

• +8 years of management experience in a food/animal nutrition plant
• A degree in Engineering, Science, or an MBA
• Strong skills in customer focus and continuous improvement techniques
• Strong leadership skills, coaching skills, and leads by example
• Fluency in Dutch and English is a must
