Portfolio Sourcing Coordinator

The company
Our client is a multinational FMCG company with almost 100 years of experience. Their products are in wide variety: from beauty & wellbeing to ice cream, you can find everything at them. They are present on all 5 continents, and they never continue to grow and improve.

Role description
Within this role, you will support the development and execution of our client’s portfolio strategy, manage suppliers and the life cycle of contracts, work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement value-project based projects and initiatives, provide forecasts, execute the best risk management strategies, and support the Sustainability Sourcing team to identify partnerships, among other duties.

Responsibilities
– 
Support the development and execution of portfolio strategy, and bring market insights to decide from who, when and how to buy.
– 
Assist and manage the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process.
– 
Manage the life cycle of contracts and make sure that the supplier base is 100% compliant with the company standards.
– 
Identify and mitigate sourcing risks, execute best strategies on risk management.
– 
Create multi-year, cost savings programs funnel for market deployment.
– 
Work cross-functionally with both local and global counterparts to identify and implement value-project based projects and initiatives.
– 
Provide reliable and accurate forecast of market and company portfolio prices.
– 
Act as a business partner to the Sustainable Sourcing team, to identify and execute the partnerships required to meet the company’s sustainability targets such as net zero by 2039.

Requirements
– 
Relevant Bachelor degree, combined with 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or R&D.
– 
Experience in strategic sourcing development, contract negotiations and stakeholder management.
– 
Excellent English communication and analytical skills:  data/information analysis and presentation. Ability to read markets, gain insights and convey findings along with recommendations, to the business.
– 
Familiarity and comfort with systems like SAP CLM, USQS, SRS, Velocity, BPC Hana, etc.
– 
Experience in market forecasting, operations and supply chain dynamics.
