Production and Packaging Operator (16/7 shift)

Role description
Within this role, you will operate, monitor and adjust various machines and automated processes according to SOPs, and observe set guidelines and requirements (quality, GMP) so that medicines are efficiently produced and packaged.

Please note that the role is in shifts (with shift allowance): 16/7 shift mainly, flexibility to move to the 24/7 shift if needed.
– 16/7 work in morning and evening shift including weekends in a pattern m/m/e/e/ followed by 2 days off.
– 24/7 work in morning evening night shift including weekends in a pattern m/m/e/e/n/n/ followed by 4 days off.

Shift times:
– morning 06:00-14:30
– evening 14:00-22:30
– night 22:00-06:30

Please also note that while working with raw materials and/or disinfectants, wearing a full face mask is mandatory. 

Responsibilities
– Operate, monitor, clean and disinfect production and packaging machines and equipment.
– Monitor and adjust automated processes and process flows.
– Perform quality checks of processes, machines, products.
– Stop work when guidelines and procedures are compromised and immediately report deviations and/or malfunctions.
– Support and/or perform line, process and cleaning validations.
– Co-monitor the production planning.
– Keep required stocks up to date and make orders if necessary.
– Support the Production Documentation process: record and report production and control data logs and production protocols so that a reliable and up-to-date record of the production process is maintained.
– Support junior Operators. 

Requirements
– Previous experience working as a packaging and/or production operator.
– Familiarity with rules and regulations applicable in a pharmaceutical environment (GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices).
– Fluent Dutch and English skills.
– Being a hands-on person with affinity to machines and other production equipment.
– Willingness to work in shifts.
