The Company
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Specialist Facility Engineer to join their team in Boxmeer, Netherlands. The company is a leading global provider of veterinary pharmaceuticals, and they’re always seeking innovative talents to join their team.
Role Description
As a Senior Specialist Facility Engineer, you will play a key role in the realization and management of critical investment projects in our worldwide Animal Health network, both remotely and on-site. You’ll be responsible for leading facility design, including HVAC, electrical, civil, mechanical, and process systems, in close cooperation with their partners.
Responsibilities
-Acts as a subject matter expert in investment projects under direction of a project manager and for technical design aspects of HVAC and utility systems including mechanical (black utilities such as chillers, chilled water, process chilled water, plant steam and compressed air systems) and process systems (room decontamination systems and clean utilities such as purified water, water for injection and clean steam).
-Has knowledge of relevant technologies including building automation systems.
-Has experience (preferred) or is familiar with modular building concepts and clean room designs.
-Can act in a project engineering role for detailed design and project construction phases including commissioning and qualification.
-Independently coordinates and reviews conceptual and detailed system designs against our engineering standards.
-Reviews facility and mechanical construction activities executed by our partners and contractors.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering.
-7-10 years of relevant working experience as a senior project engineer at a pharmaceutical company or working for an engineering firm, with technical and troubleshooting skills.
-Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and partners.
-Hands-on mentality and ability to manage multiple priorities.
-Proficient in Dutch and English language, at least at B2 level (Upper Intermediate).
-Experience with system commissioning and site acceptance testing.
-Knowledge of relevant technologies, including building automation systems.
-Familiarity with modular building concepts and clean room designs.
