Role:
The opportunity to lead the Operations, Engineering, Maintenance and Supply Chain activities toward world-class operational excellence. You will be a management team member of MEMS & Micro Devices, including about 65 direct and indirect reports.
Responsibilities:
- Optimizing production processes with respect to routing, supplies, equipment capacity and human resource levels
- Managing the cost and expenditures related to Operations in line with approved budgets
- Preparing multi-year manufacturing operation and investment plans to lead the manufacturing organization to the highest level of operational performance
- Contributing to the implementation and operation of effective Supply Chain and IT processes and systems for MEMS & Micro Device
- Driving activities related to sustain and improve safety and to maintain commitment to environmental and quality regulation
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a technical discipline relevant to the industry (physics, materials science, chemical engineering, electronics)
- Experience as Operations Director/Manager
- Experience within the MEMS or semiconductor industry, in operations, manufacturing and/or engineering functions
- Knowledge of common IT and Supply Chain Management systems in the Semicon or MEMS industry
- Experience with LEAN manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO standards ISO9001, ISO13485 and work according to the Quality Management System
- Experience with change management in a manufacturing organization
