Role Description
As a critical player in our sea-freight capability center, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the clients ambitious goal of planning 10,000 containers a year for all European factories across different segments.
As a key member of our customer-focused team, you will play a crucial role in managing the transport and documentation for road and sea transport from Veghel to over 100 markets across the globe.
Responsibilities:
–Develop delivery and shipment plans for finished goods from the Veghel site for road and sea transport, aligning the plan with all involved parties
–Manage product demand and stock levels in coordination with affiliate markets
–Manage sea transport order bookings for several external loading points
–Accurately prepare all relevant shipment documentation
–Reflect all transactions correctly in SAP
–Control correct preparation of documents by shipments department associates
–Proactively work with other planners throughout the supply chain and keep them informed
-Develop synergies to minimize logistical costs
–Ensure all procedures and documentation required for compliant import-export processes are available
Qualifications:
–Higher education or university degree in logistics
–At least 1 year of experience in logistics
–ERP experience (preferably SAP)
–Good level of Dutch and English
–Action-oriented, driven, and able to set priorities
–Customer-focused and service-oriented
