About the Role
As a Packaging Line Operator, you’ll play a key role in the final stage of pharmaceutical manufacturing by ensuring high-quality and efficient packaging of human medicines. Working within a GMP-regulated environment, you'll operate fully automated packaging lines, perform first-line maintenance, and contribute to continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and motivation to support human and animal health will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated packaging and labeling equipment according to GMP and safety (EHS) guidelines
- Perform equipment set-up, start-up, line clearance, and cleaning procedures to ensure readiness
- Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve line disruptions; carry out first-line technical maintenance
- Monitor product quality during packaging and ensure compliance with specifications
- Accurately complete batch documentation and reporting in both SAP and manual records (First Time Right)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools and techniques
- Collaborate with the production team and report to the Operations Manager
- Work according to the ATM shift schedule, including night shifts
Requirements
- MBO level 2 diploma or willingness to obtain it; an MBO assessment may be conducted based on prior education
- Preferably experience in pharmaceutical or technical packaging operations
- Strong technical affinity and interest in operating machinery and automation
- Good command of Dutch and a basic level of English (spoken and written)
- Comfortable using MS Office and SAP systems
- Accurate, reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently
